When I was a child I remember your "bah humbugs" around this time of year and how very worked up you would get as we prepared for our Christmas guests to arrive. Your forehead would turn fire engine red and you would about bite your bottom lip off as you chomped at the bit an became more riled the closer we got to estimated time of arrival. It was astonishing how it would immediately dissapate as soon as even our first guests would arrive. The reason why I mention this memory is because of the time of year you decided to check out. You had to get the last laugh on not showing up this year so with that I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas! My next memory is one of my fondest of you an takes us back to the church where you an mother were married. I of course was the flower girl my third time as a matter of fact, probably why I grew up an became a flower child now that I think about it. After the ceremony you an mother were in the chapel with best man uncle Alden and maid of honor aunt Myra. Crystal, Marsha and myself were playing outside the church and I kept poking my head in the window hollering can I call you daddy now? I know how much that meant to you because you mentioned it so very many times over the course of my life. Good times bad times through thick and sometimes pretty thin you were the only daddy I ever had or knew. I love daddy you will be sorely missed.

I have so many memories with my grandpa , since I was 12 years old, I stayed with my grandparents every summer on the farm in Kalamazoo Michigan, I had a very personal and close relationship with Grandpa , I learned so much and i will never forget him. I am so gland I had a chance to be in his life , I will always have in my heart , I know he is in heaven now, And I will see him again. I love you Grandpa . your grandson Scott. (SCOTTY) that is what he always called me.
