Ray and I worked together for 19+ years at Peace River Citrus. For many of those years we unlocked the office front door for each other and Susie as we were the "early" arrivals for first shift. Every day he brought me a miniature Heath Bar candy to my desk and he availed himself to my supply of Aleve for his aches and pains caused by his first accident. I am saddened by Rays untimely passing. Going to try and make the visitation this evening, but if a can't be there, please know that my memories of Ray will bring a smile to my face every time. Just look at him wearing bunny ears!

Angie and family,
I wanted to let you know he is truly missed here at the plant by all and that all of you are in my thoughts. I know I miss him especially after 20 years with all of the discussions we would have some calmly and some not so calmly. He had a heart that he would show when he let his guard down that most people didn't see otherwise. He was my friend.

I was a good friend of Ray ( I called him Rayford and never ever heard anyone call him Pete) for over 20 years. The tough exterior had a heart of gold and I could tell of numerous times that he has helped other people, including myself through rough times. I will miss seeing him every day and the "colorful" conversations that we would have. He was one of a kind and will be missed by many. RIP Rayford
