Lost touch with Steve years ago, after I enlisted, but he was never far from my thoughts. Tried to find him recently and came across this. I was deeply saddened by the news. Steve and I, along with other coworkers always took as stand against injustice. I many lessons from Steve that helped get me where I am today, he was, ans is my friend, I will miss him.

Was pne of the best examples of how a NCO should be. Never looked down on anyone and was always willing to share in any advice needed.

I was so very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. Please take comfort in knowing that you have another angel to look after you and the family. Steve may not be there with you in person, but, his love will always stay beside and around you. May our Lord bless and comfort you, your family and friends during this time of grief.
