Living next door to you, Carol & Deborah, I have such fond memories of your Mom & Dad. Our daughter helped your Mom in the nurse's office at Westlake for a few years. Your Mom was such an influence on her that she went on to become a nurse practioner. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

At 13 years of age Ann became a second mother to me due to our mother's illness and I adored her. She attended CCNY for a year before going to nursing school. Ann and Betty were the first imigrant women to get an education in our neighborhood and were envied by many. My parents were very proud of her. At her birth my mother prayed that she would be a nurse some day. Her first job at Wingdale, NY
