my loving husband willie departed this life on Jan 25th 2015 we met march 1980 four years later we were married, Willie was a loving husband I will miss him dearly, and will forever love him. We spent lots of good times together each year we took vacations together, we travel to Barbados that was his favorite place. he loved the beaches, hotels and of course the food. during the years of his sickness I took care of him at

I refused to take him to the nursing home for long lerm care. Thank my GOD for the knowledge and strength he gave me to preform that task for 6 years. My sweet husband rest in peace in GOD care. my weeping and grief has just began I know I can depend on my God. Willie would want me to be strong and move on with my life. To the immediate family, & Especially Annie, James Edward, Your brother Leroy, & to his daughter Brenda, & Dee, & Kim, Kevin, Tony & Ryan, I am sorry that you were not able to attend services for your dearly departed, but know that God is and will continue to be your source for strength, and a present help in a time of trouble. As Bishop I exercise my right by the Lord Jesus Christ to offer this prayer for your departed brother, father uncle, and friend Most merciful God I thank you on this day. I thank you for the life of Willie Lee Byrd, and what he imparted into and meant to his family. I ask Dear Lord that you pardon any hardship caused in or to this family.
