Kay,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know that your mother was a very special lady because she has raised a very special daughter. You are a blessing to everyone that has the opportunity to meet you. You shine bright with love and goodness. I know that your mother is surely with Jesus and that you will see her again one day. Be comforted by the Holy Spirit and may God's love bring you peace during this sad time. I'm sorry that I was out of town last week and could not stop by to give you a big hug but know that I will give you a big hug the next time I see you.
Love, Karla

Dear girls, Shawn, Dick, and granddaughters, we are so sad about Joanie. She was a sweet and hard-working woman. Her family was very important to her. I know her parents and siblings and all who passed before her were waiting to guide her as she arrived in Heaven. I hope she's singing to them. Love, Aunt Dianne (Jim) and family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Hunter when I taught Kay and coached Kay in special Olympics. She was a devoted mother and one of Kay's best champions. I am happy that I had the opportunity to know her well.

Joan always loved to sing and was in all our Easter and Christmas presentations. She knew all the hymns by heart. In the last weeks that she was able to come to church, I could hear her clear, good voice in singing the hymns. When she and Flo would come to pick up Kay, she and I always blew a kiss to each other. Joan is well known for her love and compassion for people. I can remember when she was working with Hospice and giving her special care to these patients and their families. She used to head up our care group, keeping up with the needs of everyone. What a beautiful lady who will be missed so much. She leaves a wonderful legacy to her family. I know her daughters and son will always carry on her life of service to others. Much love and prayers to the Hunter family.
