MARY L. TIPPINS, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, April 10, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte.

She was born October 22, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Port Charlotte in 1968 from Clinton, Michigan. She was a retired medical technician at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, now Bayfront Health-Punta Gorda, and a former volunteer at the Cultural Center of Punta Gorda. She attended the First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte

Survived by her loving family, daughters, Janice Vella of North Port, FL,
Nancy Finly of North Port, Fl, Carol Dalton of Ocala, Fl, Mary Catherine Tippins of Port Charlotte, Sabina Campbell of Arcadia, FL, Rosemary Buckholz and Nancy Tippins both of Tampa, FL; a son, Emil Tippins of Englewood, Fl; brothers, Jack Rowe of Manchester, MI and Richard Lawson of Onsted, MI; 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Friday 11:00 AM, April 17, 2015 at the First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte, 20444 Midway Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952.

I am so sorry for your loss my friends. Your mom has always had a special place in my heart. Growing up she put up with all our "chaos" with horses and boyfriends. She kept all grounded and set a wonderful example for all of us.
May God continue to Bless all of you, give you strength and comfort during this time. All of you are in my Thoughts and Prayers !

I adored Mary and sat at her kitchen table many times for Mary Kay makeovers! She supported all of us Mary Kay consultants wholeheartedly and was always smiling. I've had many fun times with Cathy, Nancy and Janice too. My condolences to your precious family! I'm thinking of you all and praying for comfort. Love you bunches Cathy! Mary will be missed!

I love you and miss you grandma. You were one of the few people in my life that were always there for me in my time of need. Im glad you had a wonderful life and were here to see so many grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren born. I just wanted to tell you I will never forget you.
