Condolence & Memory Journal

Happy New Year.. into 2018.. and life is moving forward... I want you to know that you are always a thought away... and I KNOW.. some of the noises.. the "bumps in the night" at the house are you... poking me to let me know you are keeping an eye on things... some days I am overwhelmed with sadness.. and still shed a few tears.. look around.. and think .. what would E think of this.. or that... but I also know that you are holding court up there.. being your healthy , happy witty self... and probably driving Mom and Dad a little crazy. I need you all to keep watching over me... and I am OK with the curve balls you throw every once in a while. xo me

I remember when i was around four, Aunt Sue, and Uncle earl were staying at a hotel in orange city. My mother had allowed me to go up to their room with my older brother, I remember walking in and seeing my uncle. Or even the time when my brother was four and was opening their present on Christmas and was too distracted by the tv he said "Aunt Earl!. i can't remember any other memory of me with him, i am now 12 and devastated of his passing, But now he is in a place better than anything in this world. May God bless Aunt Sue and Uncle Earl at this time

Love and miss you all,
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Sue,I never had the pleasure of meeting you. Earl was a great guy. I worked with him at Fulton Chevrolet back in the 80's .He kept everyone in stitches. Rest in peace my friend. I'm sure Walter and you are out cruisin together right now.

To Sue and all of Earl's family, we have never met. I wish the best for you all in this difficult time. Earl touched a lot of people's lives throughout his years with his talents and friendship, most of all with his humor and sharp wit. He was a joy to be around. I am privileged to have called him my friend. When a good man like Earl passes those of us that loved him have to try a little harder to fill the void which is left. There just aren't enough people in the world like Earl. He will be sorely missed. Again, Sue, we are so sorry for your loss. As Earl used to joke with me, cut the cards

Sincere Condolences to Earls Family. I have not seen Earl for probably 35 years, but will never forget the times we jammed in Earls garage with Harold & Todd or Drag Racing on Wawayanda Ave. Rest in Peace my friend.

Rest in peace Earl. It was a rough few years for both you and Sue. May you eternally enjoy your music and send a few songs Sue's way. To my big sister, you are one of the strongest people I know. May you find comfort in knowing Earl is well again. May God watch over both of you and send outrageous happiness your way. Love and Prayers

In death as in Life, hope, prayers, and love still follow the Van Inwegen Family. In life, Earl & Sue fought for Earl's ability to survive. With his death, they each have earned the peace, the comfort, and even more of the love they've been shown by both their Families & Friends. Rest at Peace, Earl....and Sue, draw your strength from those around you when needed.....you have each earned it!

I haven't seen my uncle since the 70's. I mostly remember going to his parents house (my grandparents) and seeing his model cars. My grandparents were kinda uncomfortable letting me mess with them, but I was golden boy so they let me. I remember him coming home once and being a little annoyed that I was messing with his stuff, but he blew it off and went to his room. Good enough memory I guess....definitely Van Inwegen style...
