Judy, so sorry to learn about Bob's passing this morning in the paper. He seemed to be very frail for a long time. The last time I saw both of you was at the Concert at church on April 30th. I remember back when Bob worked as an interviewer at SVdP with my husband, Rich, Tess Ashley, Dick Devine, Bea Nichols, Lynn Theisen, Tom Farely, Tom Ferrara, and several others. Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of Bob. May you and your family be comforted, consoled, and healed by the blessings from God. Rich and Judy Yando

Family of Bob Oswald:
My memory of Bob is his active participation in projects to help protect the quality of water in beautiful Torch Lake for many years. Bob's outstanding interpretation of historical E.coli cell count data in Eastport Creek as it enters Torch Lake at its north end. Corrective actions and follow up monitoring were based on Bob's interpretations. Bob and his friend Jack Norris, and Jack's daughter Becky lead the team of volunteers who collected the water samples from 23 streams that enter Torch Lake. I also fondly remember Bob's contributions to the development of common-sense action plans to manage Eurasian watermilfoil in Torch Lake.
Judy, you and Bob were always valuable supporters of Three Lakes Association's annual meetings, which I truly appreciated. I was a pleasure knowing and working with Bob.
Sincerely,
Dean Branson
