Angelina Mestre Obituary

Mrs. Angelina Mestre, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care House in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Born Angelina Croce on March 15, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York, Angelina, a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother, lived in Copiague, Long Island, New York with her husband Marcello, until relocating to Port Charlotte in 1979. Angelina was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and a longtime hospital volunteer at Fawcett Memorial in Port Charlotte.

Angelina is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 62 years, Marcello Mestre; two sons, Ramon Mestre of Brandon, FL, and Ralph Mestre of Corinth, TX; eight grandchildren; one sister, and one brother.
